Are you tired of being overwhelmed by unwanted calls from random strangers on WhatsApp? Well, have no fear, because help is on the way!
According to Webetainfo, in an upcoming update, WhatsApp will allow users to silence calls from all unknown numbers. This means that if someone who isn’t in your contacts list tries to call you, their call will be silenced, and you won’t even know it happened!
So, how will this work? Basically, when you receive a call from an unknown number, it will be silenced automatically. You won’t hear the ringtone or feel the vibration. Instead, you’ll see a notification in your call log that shows you missed a call from an unknown number.
This new feature is designed to help users avoid getting spam calls or unsolicited messages from unknown numbers. It’s perfect for those times when you just don’t want to be bothered, or if you’re waiting for an important call from someone you know.

The screenshot shows where some beta testers can turn on a setting to silence unknown callers, and this feature can be found in WhatsApp Settings > Privacy. By enabling this feature, users can stop receiving calls from unknown phone numbers, but they will still be able to see missed calls from those numbers in the calls section of the app and in the notification center.
Of course, if you want to receive calls from unknown numbers, you can always turn off this feature in your settings. But for those times when you just want a little peace and quiet, WhatsApp has got your back.
This feature is expected to be rolled out soon, so keep an eye out for it in your app updates. With this new addition, WhatsApp continues to make improvements to its platform to make it a more enjoyable and stress-free experience for users.
